I'm taking stupidly long draws - why???

I seem to be averaging 8-9 second draws - actually just took one that hit the 10 sec safety. What the heck am I doing wrong?

Using the Kanger subtank mini (.5 coil) on an eleaf 30. I tend to stay around the 18-20 watt range.

Help please!

How old is your coil?

5 seconds and I'm full with the mini on my Subox at 25 watts. If it's age it'd have to be older than two weeks or a HEAVY vaper. My two week old coil could've gone longer too if I hadn't gotten a q-tip stuck in it and ripped the coil out.

On a side note, don't do everything people suggest on the internet.

To me the airflow on the STM is rather tight, even wide open..the .5 coil has little juice inlets that don't wick well at all at higher wattages...that said I like tanks with good airflow, like the Crown...
I vape the .5 at 50w with good flavor and vapor, and the .25 at 65w is just dog nuts..huge vapor/flavor, lol
So I guess I'm trying to say maybe you need to upgrade to a better tank...BTW,, even my deep lung hits are less than 6 seconds..and in two to three hits I'm good.. Wish I could help more, but I gave my STM away when I upgraded to the Uwell Crown subtank..good luck!

Mmmmkay...I'll replace my coil and if that helps (least expensive option).

I absolutely want the Uwell Crown - vape budget says, "Not today."

But you might upgrade to a mod that has at least 75-100w available to run the Crown with the stainless coils..

I really want to get a Crown, but I think I'm going to get a 100w istick first/too.

I just keep hearing rave reviews about the Crown. Is the RTA pretty good?

there is absolutely nothing wrong with a kanger subtank
its juice holes can wick max vg just fine at higher watts(well high watts for them)

yes crowns can run higher watts because of their dual coils
because of this they can give more flavor then a STM
and SS coils do seem to help some flavors be even stronger
the crowns have more airflow than a STM
