IPV2X magnet mod

20150112_181709_resize_20150112_182343.jpg 20150112_181734_resize_20150112_182342.jpg There are many tutorials on youtube on how to do the magnet mod on an iPV2. However, the rear cover on the 2x is apparently a bit thicker. I just completed the mod using 4, 1/8 X 1/8 cylinder magnets instead of the 1/16 X 1/8 magnets. Adds about 1/4 again the amount of holding force. Just though I would share.

Magnets used...K&J Magnetics 1/8 X 1/8 Cylinders, D22-N52, NI

Thanks for sharing! I'd really like to do this on my iPV3. Taking those screws out every time I need to swap batteries has become a real pain
