Is battery safe enough?

What type of battery are you using? If it is an 18650 size battery, they are not in fact just an 'E-cig' battery- they have many uses, such as power tools and laptop computers. If it is a all in one style mod, it likely uses a Li-ion or Li-Po type battery.

When used correctly, they are just as safe like @gakudzu said as anything else that uses a Li-ion type battery. If you are using a regulated mod, and not pushing very high wattages, you are actually very safe, as long as you don't do anything stupid like carry loose batteries in your pocket.

Depends..a poorly designed mech and bad battery safety can lead to a pipe-bomb...those other items just catch fire in a very dramatic fashion
