  • Running Authentic dark horse with a 5 wrap dual 22 guage coil.
  • Reads .1 ohms, but my reader rounds down or up. (Could be .06ohms-.14ohms)

  • I have an EFEST IMR 18650 3.7V LI-MN 30A battery.

Absolutely not. Assuming for a moment that the Efest is actually a 30 amp (it's a 20 amp) a 0.1ohm setup will draw 42 amps. You need to leave about 5 amps head room so you don't want to build something that will draw more than 15 amps or so. A 0.25 ohm set up will draw 16.8 amps and more than satisfy you especially since you haven't been vaping for very long.

Here's some more tips for you.

Stay away from Efest. They don't actually make batteries. They buy low grade reject cells and overstate the power of said cells. They're a bad company, and we shouldn't be supporting them.

Only buy Sony, Samsung, and LG cells. That's it. Panasonic and Sanyo are also real battery manufacturers, but their cells are not powerful enough in general to be useful to mech mod users.

Be careful with Sony batteries. They are rare anymore. I buy from http://liionwholesale.com/.

www.steam-engine.org/ is your friend. It will keep you from fucking up.

Get an ohm reader. They're cheep. They're easy to get. They'll keep your hands, arms, and face attached to your face and not on fire. Have you had a 3rd degree burn? I have. They SUCK ASS. They aren't just painful. It's the lack of any feeling from the site for a little while. The terrible pain for days after the burn. The complete lack of skin over the burn for weeks after the burn. Don't get burnt. Get an ohm reader.

Dont do it, get a 26650 mod if you wanna go that low! 45 amps is WAY to much for any 18650 battery

Also you should download an ohms calculator app on your phone

Stick with 24 gauge when using a 18650 tube mech in my humble opinion.

Use the bbcode for pics at imgur and the pic shows in the thread and not a link.

this type of question worded this way... id say throw on more wraps. get it to at least 0.35 and practice before diving to those low depths.
if youre using a mech i understand the "need" to go low, but if youre new to building id say at least get a reg'd box that will not fire your atty if its f* up!
these days in the vape market their are MANY reg'd devices that are priced reasonably. if you are currently using a reg'd device, then you dont need to go that low...
