Is lower guage wire good for fused claptonwrapping?

Hey there I'm relatively new to building and tend to see alot of the builders using higher guage wire like 36 and higher for the Clapton portion and I was just wondering how the lower guage like 32 performs in the flavor area ? Right now I prefer the 3 core 26 guage core and fused Clapton with either 36 or 38 for Clapton portion.i find with the 38 for Clapton it tends to spit a little. Any thoughts ??

Lower the gauge wrap the more coil mass is added = longer ramp up time, also less surface area than higher gauge wrap.
I too prefer 36+ gauge

I vape 28*3/40

I don't care for thicker wrap wires. Holds the heat too long and cooks the juice after taking a vape, takes longer to ramp up. Higher wattage overcomes that to some degree but then it becomes too hot of a vape for me.
