As a new vaper, I've been doing a lot of research on YouTube. One thing I've noticed is that the overwhelming majority of "proper" videos are being done in the UK. When I say proper, I'm excluding some guy sitting in his house and talking about vaping. I'm talking about the analysis of clinical research studies, interviews with real doctors, and things like that. There are only a couple of these types of videos made in the USA. One video that I saw was of a "lung" doctor from UCSD who said e-cigs are bad. First, I've never heard of someone formally describing their self as a "lung" doctor. They would describe themselves as a pulmonary doctor. Second, she didn't know what she was talking about, but did mention she needs more money for research. This might explain the USA's reluctance to accept vaping over traditional cessation methods: The almighty dollar. Is the UK a step ahead of the USA in vaping?
