Just got a Wismec Predator 228

Hola people, am new here and to vaping as well.. Just got a Wismec Predator 228 last week and it seems I have already burnt a coil. Am just off the ciggs and enjoy heavy vaping, the device does heat up quite a bit but with a dual 18650 I guess thats not unusual; but burning a coil in about 500 puffs on the counter was something I am not entirely sure to be normal. I replaced with another triple 0.25ohm coil I had bought along with the device but I am not sure this one will last longer than the first one..

Any recommendations.. for maybe mods or coils I can get to change on this device?

P.S. sorry if this is a noob question, I am kinda noob to vaping

Sure.. I am on the default Elabo tank the predator came with..
