Just got an ebay server workstation

So I just blew 2400 bucks on a new workstation off e-bay its a hp z820 the system cost me 650 it was the upgrades that got expensive. 575 for 128gb DDR-3 ecc registered ram 400 for 2 Xeon E5-2680 v2's 10 core 2.8ghz and 4 800gb enterprise grade sas ssd's for 200 each.

The only problem is I need to change out the bios chip for the motherboard for it to use the new processors. Switching out a 16 pin soic chip is gonna be a pain.

I haven't decided what I'm gonna do with the 32gb of ram and processor that is already in it. I'm thinking about trading if off for something interesting, but I'm not there yet.

She's in and sexy 20 cores 40 threads and can keep up with a threadripper 1950 at 1/2 the cost the only draw back is 2 of the 16 ram sticks I ordered where bad.... Working on rma now, but I still have 112gb of ram working =). I wish you could mix and match ECC registered and non-registered, but you can't.
