Realizing that USPS is coming very soon, with BOXES of Vape supplies that are too big to fit in the mailbox, and you have 15" of snow in your driveway leading to the door!

"This is the big one...I'm coming to join you Elizabeth"... ;P

15 inches of snow here in NJ you will never see USPS.

You must live in Minnesota or like.

Streets are clear, but we got 15" here yesterday/last night, and I work from home alot, so I didn't care about the driveway today...then I saw my Tracking from BCV, and was like" Awesome....ahhhh.... ARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!...Cut a swath, cut a swath..." :D
I live in Ma.about 20mi South of Boston.

Oh, thought the snow fall was today.

Use to hang in Fall River in the summer when I was younger, and my son just moved back home from 6 years living in Mission Hill Boston.

You can have it, I wanna get back to golfin', shoveling snow sux!
I'mma just chop up the end/snowbank, and drive my truck over the rest...just had to cut a swath for USPS to get to the door!

Some people are already back to golfing here. I don't know how they do it. It's still too cold. Luckily for us even though it's cold it's not cold enough for the snow to stay so it'll snow a couple inches and be gone by the time we're home from work. No shoveling!

I've gone 3 times in the last month or so, but we've had 3 Rain or snow storms in the last 2 weeks, but only this 1 was ugly here at my house(yesterday).
We had weather of 50+ and 60+ in the last month!

Mail Girl screwed me, I can ALWAYS hear her POS truck slowing down/stopping, and she NEVER stopped here today(or next door), I just checked tracking, and at 2:49pm she stated " Delivery Attempted, Receptacle Blocked".
That's a fkn LIE, I was out there way B4 2:49pm, and there was no issue with her reaching her arm to the mailbox, OR walking up my driveway.
The guy next door has had a flag up ( awaiting her to pickup) for at least 5 hours!
I'm trying to figure out how bad I'm gonna lay into her for LYING, tomorrow when she DOES show up!
This shit aggravates me, they don't even give you a place to complain about shitty service on the website, I'm considering calling tomorrow to lodge a complaint...
Bah, what a DB...

Edit: Know what really sux? When your Mail Person LIES.

My experience with making complaints to USPS is like pissing in the wind or talking to the wall. Might try reaching out to the manager of the local Post Office or the 800 number or website.

I'm not sure what I'm gonna do, she handles my mail everyday, so unless something would be done, it wouldn't be beneficial....and I don't think anything would come of it, so....
I've settled down since, but I obviously cleared the driveway before I created this thread, and I was listening for her well before that, and I hear that POS when she's at the house before mine.

Thanks

Our regular mail carrier is a great guy who delivers my parcels early with a special stop and I have complained to him about the other people who do his route. He can only apologize for them but he sure laughed hard when I told him that they must "Hire the handicapped because they are fun to watch!" When someone down at the P.O. decided to take the day off instead of putting my parcel out for delivery.

No disrespect meant to the Handicapable People

Still haven't heard her POS truck, no mail, AND the neighbors flag is STILL up, so she hasn't delivered mail since Tuesday.
We usually get mail between 1:30 and 3:30pm every day....it's only 4:05
With that being said, I just tracked my Reload delivery, and it's out for delivery...with the same woman....hopefully I get my 2 BCV boxes and my Reload package today.
She'll be coming tomorrow with my AVS supplies as well, if she decides to work... of course.

I just went out there as she was trying to drive away from my mailbox, she gave me a BULLSHIT excuse saying she was told to bring it back downtown if she couldn't access the door, I said I shoveled this out for you yesterday, and she said " Not when I drove by".
What a LYING wench, now I have to go downtown to pickup my stuff...like she couldn't have delivered it TODAY!

Man, I hate lying scumbags!

I just got back from picking it up at the Main Post office, the guy said "Maybe there was snow in the driveway", I said "At what, 9:00am when she drives up the other side of the street? She doesn't deliver to my side of the street until 1:30 or after- sometimes 3:30 or so, and I can hear her truck driving up and down the street at LEAST 1 house away in either direction- she had a swath to walk down, wide enough for 3 people, and I NEVER heard her truck once all day" I then asked the guy why my slip said 3/14, when today was 3/15, and I just got it..."I don't know, that's her, she just got that route" " I'll tell ya why, she didn't do her fkn job! Thanks".

" I'll tell ya why, she didn't do her fkn job! Thanks".

Lodge a complaint with the Postmaster General on the website because that will generate some scrutiny on the route. I did that for a problem with International Shipments and actually received a response.

I'm gonna give her this ONE, she now knows that I am paying attention, if she pulls this crap again, I will SURELY do that without question, and I will tell her so she knows.
I did get my Reload today though, so tomorrow she has to drop off my AVS coils, and 2nd BCV order...bitch better not pork me, I've been wanting to mix some Mama J's G.O.C, and I don't think she's gonna want that shitstorm.

I think she already deserves it. The website allows anonymous reporting if I remember correctly.

You're probably right, but considering I was a serious fuckup for a LONNNNNG time until I got my shit together, I have a tendency to give folks 1 chance.

I don't think there's been a regular delivery day in the nearly 20 years we've lived here that the mail didn't get delivered at some point, even if it was 7 pm. Our mail people are awesome, with the singular exception that they don't like our 1/4 mile long driveway with potholes in it and low-hanging tree branches overhead. Hubbs says he likes it like that cause he's antisocial and it keeps people out. LOL Seriously, though, the PO here is great. They've even answered the back door at the Post Office at 7 am when I was banging on it needing a package that was to be delivered that day, because it contained my boss's Christmas present, and we were supposed to be having our Christmas lunch that day. Nice bunch of ladies.

You have any documentation on how you did this? Because we need to share it with my son. That's a shitty thing to say, but true. He's gone from being a serious fuckup to being very judgemental over other people's behavior. Drives me out of my mind.

No, I just realized that I was going nowhere fast, and decided it was time...
Got a decent job, worked my way up by being responsible and productive....once I did that, my upbringing of "Treat people like you want to be treated" became clearer to me.
One thing I learned, Respect is something that is earned, and not to be treated lightly.

That is for sure, respect is earned. Son does well at work, and that's probably why. He gets respect there because he is good at what he does. The family, though, is another story. We were all burned pretty badly by him, repeatedly and over a lot of years, and there hasn't been enough time and space since.

I just made my first trip to MA year before last. I met up with some Internet friends that I had known for nearly 10 years, but this was our first face-to-face. One of the ladies lives in South Australia, and was in the US on a tour, and she happened to have some free time while they were in Boston. We all met up in Framingham. It was a surprisingly lovely drive, through PA into NJ, then across the Hudson River on some little two-lane road in the middle of nowhere - I like taking scenic routes - into and through CT. All places I'd never been before. I enjoyed it so much! Thankfully it was in September, and there was no "weather" for this Southern girl to contend with. I got some looks, though, have to admit. Can't leave the accent at home when ya take off travelin'. :p
