Learn to know your enemy, or your friend (depending if you ask Obama or not), I'm talking about Iran.
In Iran rape, drug trafficking and possession, adultery and until a few years ago gay intercourse are all capital crimes punishable by death.
Around 75% of the executions are drug related, so it is safe to say that in Iran drugs won't just get you high, they will get you hanging high:

even though you won't be executed any more, it's still not a good idea to be gay in Iran:

Or to be a woman:

Or a teenager wanting to have some fun.
A group of 30 students were recently arrested and sentenced to 99 lashes each, for attending a mixed gender graduation party and drinking alcohol.

Being a reporter is a very dangerous line of work (unless you say exactly what they tell you to say):

In 2014 Iran celebrated the 35th anniversary of takeover of the American embassy.
The celebrations included the usual American flag burning and calls "death to American, death to the big Satan" and much more:

Speaking of annual events, Iran conducts an annual Holocaust cartoon competition:

Iran need more tourist attractions, so they intend to build a statue commemorating the recent capture of the American soldiers, to serve as one:

The U.S. State Department considers Iran the world's most active state sponsor of terrorism:
