Leaving Eastshine S2 Smart Charger plugged in?

So I just picked up an Eastshine S2 charger, and I read somewhere to unplug it when it's not in use. But, like, do I have to? Has anyone had theirs heat up/malfunction when plugged in and not in use? It's kind of a pain in the arse to unplug it when my batteries are finished charging and plug it back in to charge. I'd really rather just leave it plugged in and ready to go all the time, but is that unsafe?
