I’ve been messing with this one for a few months, liking the FE Lemon more than I did initially. After several versions, I’d say this one (now with a 31-day steep) is good to go.

3.5% FA Custard
7% CAP Glazed Doughnut
3.5% FE Lemon
.75% FA Lemon Sicily
.5% CAP Super Sweet
2% FA Vienna Cream

Needs between 2 & 3 weeks, but pretty darn good after that. The FE Lemon holds up longer than FA Lemon Sicily alone. The FA LS acts only as a supporting lemon here, adding just a bit of brightness.

Hey, I can make this with no subs! That hardly ever happens!

Well, this looks very nice! I’m definitely gonna mix this one up with one sub.....WF Glazed Donut for Caps. Should be fine, tho.

Thanks, let me know how it works out. You'll need a little patience to let the lemons calm down a little, but I know you can do it!

I'll have to use Zeppola, or something. Not into the donut flavors, but this looks reallllllly nice. Thansk for not saying Cap Vanilla Custard, lol.
Or FA Wow would maybe work too (if you have it). Too me, Zeppola always needs help because it seems "dry". As for the FA Custard over CAP in this one, it was a no-brainer. I always get that subtle hint of lemon with it anyway. Thanks Huck!

No kidding! I barely use VCV1 anymore......too many other good ones out there.
I still go through quite a bit of CAP VC, but I have several mixes where FA works better, The same goes for FLV & TFA (which I think gets a bad wrap a lot of the time).

Just can't do vanilla custards. Something doesn't agree with my tastebuds. FA OG Custard... I use that one pretty regularly.

Same here. I only use FA Custard any more. I can use most vanilla-type creams but have found that some ice creams also have that funky taste.
