Locking ring for mech mod?

Today I went to a vape shop and bought my first mech mod. It's an illuminatus. I like it, but I want some portability without having to take off the rda or battery.
There is a gap between the button and the tube. Is there something they sell specifically to shove in that gap for this mod, or does anybody have any DIY solutions, such as something that you can get at the hardware store and fit in between?
I was thinking I could look through the garage and find a washer or something to cut in half, but should I not use something metal? Thanks

i think that tube has a pull and twist lock mechanism... have you tried it?

Is that switch adjustable for battery rattle? If so, adjust it, back it out.

yep you pull out on the button and twist a bit to lock here is vid.

Actually, today before even checking back on this thread, I discovered by mistake that the firing button can pull out and turn. It does seem to work, but I'd still like a locking ring for an extra line of safety.
