Looking for info on sub ohm vaping

Hi there, I'm a journalist who's writing a story on sub-ohm vaping. I vape casually, stumbled across modding/sub-ohming, thought it was pretty cool, and wanted to learn more about it.

If anyone out there wants to educate me on sub-ohming and cloud chasing, I'd be excited to talk with you. Specifically, I'm curious about how you got into sub-ohming, what you like about it, and what makes it different from usual vaping. Technical specs, cool videos, manifestos - I'd be curious to see them all.

I'd be happy to hear from you on here, or if you're interested in emailing or talking on Facetime I'd be down for that as well.

If you've got any questions for me, please don't hesitate to send them my way. Thanks for reading and I hope we get the chance to chat.

Hi and thanks for the info. I'm writing this for a new-ish website called Ozy (http://www.ozy.com/). I've been vaping on-and-off for the past year. I smoked casually for something like a decade but never made a consistent habit of it. I've gotten some good info on sub ohming from a variety of places but what I'm really most curious about is peoples' personal experiences.

Not exactly sure what you want by way of experience.
I won't speak for anyone but myself:
I started vaping to quit a 2 pack a day habit.
I started vaping in the 1.5-2 ohm range and dropped when safe high power\low ohm devices became available. I did so for fun, a better vape experience and to keep from getting bored.
As the higher power mods became available, they became, safer, more reliable, less expensive, better built, more advanced and more consistent. This negated both the need for constant fiddling, and the need for everyone to be able to build. Those advancements are a result of the free market responding to the demand put on them by the vaping community; and, smokers looking to find a safer alternative.

An article about sub ohming or cloud chasing will either be to glamorize it or demonize it. Either is a bad idea.

I hope you don't get the help you're looking for.
