It just reads 0 ohms so I figured it was the coil

Do you have another meter to test stuff with another mod to test they atty with or another atty to test the mod with...

WHAT OHM SHOULD THE COIL OR BUILD READ? maybe it s too low for the mod? BY DESIGN.

I'm using .2ohm coil. The same one the tank came with. I only have 1 mod and tank. My old tank stopped working.

And when the tanks is not on it says check atomizer like it should? Is it my tank?

Probably bad coils or you got a bad insulator or there is some debris in a connection point or there is an internal mod issue.....
Hard to say from here. Suggest you find a second meter to use for diagnostic purposes.

If the tank is the issue.... maybe..... could just need a new coil or have a problem with the mod or batteties.....

I suggest buying a Meter and testing things. .. that's step number 1.
