Hello, I have a rx mini and a uwell crown tank. At first I was getting Great flavor and clouds. Recently I bought from vista vapors and I noticed that their juice was burning up my coils and tasting very hot when used. I stopped putting that in my uwell and only use it in the rx mini tank that came with the starter kit. First why does it work with one and not the other and second my uwell seems now to only get dry hits with other fluids and leaves my throat feeling uncomfortable. Is thst because the rx mini can't handle the uwell or is the tank itself the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you changed the coil in the crown?
The answer to your question is complicated and simple
ANYTHING could have happened to the coil. you cant see all of the coil or cotton. So there could be gunk on the coil causing teh issues or some of the cotton may be burnt from an accidental dry hit, etc
If you havent changed the crown coil then do that and be sure to really prime the new coil well before firing it.
If you have already done that....
the coils are different between the two tanks
you made no mention of which coils and what power you fired them at. DIfferent types of metals, resistance and coil styles require different power levels

Soooo I use .25 on the uwell it's a dual coil and .2 on the rx mini tank that came with the kit That's a single coil. I have tried multiple coils on the uwell and it is not performing like it was when I bought it. I prime it very well each time I replace it but nothing seems to help. It's just weird to me that the rx tank now tastes better than the uwell. I was thinking of getting a new MOD like the rx 2/3 and seeing if that works well with the uwell or just trying a new tank.

What type of juice did you use and have you tried other juices?
All the juice I use is fruit flavored and I have tried multiple ones. The juice from vista vapors seems to be the only kind not working at all with the uwell crown. I get a hot spicy taste with it even when using new coils
All juice is atleast a 70/30 ratio or higher

But there have been known issues with bad batches of coils for them from time to time. Its on eof the reasons i switched to RTAs because I use dmy crown a lot and got tired of the inconsistency of the coils
The power range seems fine....some run the crown on a .25 coil higher though like 65-80w, so maybe try that
Some flavors need lower power and some need more power. I find my single flavor flavors and fruity flavors taste best at a lower wattage then something that is 6-8 flavors.
I agree it sounds wierd what you are experiencing.
The only other thing I can think of is the crown is dirty
Something is contaminating the juice so maybe a good disassembly and cleaning.
While doing that check the peek insulator for scorch marks and the o-rings for scorching

I appreciate the info but I stopped using that juice in the uwell and I still have issues.
I cleaned it and o rings are fine. What is did notice today is my coils look rusty....and the top piece of cotton has a little discolor so I'm not sure if that's the fluid or it's burnt a little. I literally put a new coil on yesterday. So I don't know if it's the rx not handling the uwell correctly or the rx itself.
Yeah but like someone else said Uwell is pretty notorious for having shoddy coils. Especially if it's the first Crown. My experience was so bad it stopped me from buying any other Uwell products. Uwell knew about it as well and for a lot of customers they refused to do anything. Could be you just got a shoddy coil. Combine that with bad juice and well you know the rest.

Yea I'm at the point now where I'm gonna get a smok alien and use the TV tank it comes with. I'll try the uwell on that but I won't be buying any more coils after it still gives me the issues
