Mod is fake fireing

I have a puma 200w mod
The mod doesn't ask if there's a new coil or an old one
Although it reads the automizer
So when I press the fire button it displays seconds changing but no actual fireing is happening
I tried a different tank/batteries and still didn't work

can you take pic of the screen and upload it please? You might need to crop the picture before uploading

don’t see any automatic in the manual so not sure what you have it set on

It's on he normal wattage mode (VW) (u will find it on the top at the right)
Unfortunately I currently don't have it

I tried setting it on temperature control mode and it did fire normally
But didn't fire on the wattage mode

what wattage did you have it set at? if youre saying auto is there can you take it out of that and manually adjust it up?

also did you notice the resistance of the coil jumping about at all?

1-) 60 w
2-) no there isn't automatic I just meant wattage mode
3-)no, the resistance of the coil was stable

ok just working through the basics so others who chime in have more info

1) What tank are you using?

2) What is the resistance of the coil?

3) What metal is the coil?

4) What batteries are you using? Make and model...I.e. Sony VTC5A

5) what’s the charge like on the batteries...is mod saying they are full

6) Does the gold positive pin extend out the bottom of the threads on the tank ok?

7) Is the positive contact in the mod springing back ok when you push it down? Turn mod off first

8) Have you tried resetting the mod if it has this feature?

9) Not sure if the mod is firmware upgradable or not, have you done this to it recently?

10) have you ever had the atomiser leak all over the mod?

11) do you charge batteries externally or via the usb?

K owing the wire type is imparitive. You say it won't fire in wattage but will in temp control. It may be an Ni200 coil. Also juice leaking all over isn't good. Could be juice on the board inside. The center pin is the pin that makes contact from the tank to the mod. Most likely brass or copper. When you get a chance some pics would really help assess the situation.

Can answer all the questions now :)

Oh if the mod can be stripped down, where you have leaked juice before, might be worth seeing if anything got in there

Isopropyl 99.9% will clean anything up

While your in there you can see what the contacts are like

try watts
The original poster stated it won't fire in wattage mode. Sometimes you need to elaborate more with your answers than one liners. I used to have the same problem. Short answer and it seemed like I didn't know what I was talking about.
