Mouth Hit SOS

I'm a major "mouth to lung" hitter, I never have/liked straight lung hits. Today, my local vape lounge set me up with a new 40w Eleaf Istick (what I was using before) with a Innokin Sub V tank... At first use, I liked it and walked out of the store. Upon vaping it and playing with it, I realized I can't get a decent "mouth to lung" hit. I get more "burn" (from nicotine) than actual vapor. Is it even possible to vape this set up using ONLY mouth to lung hits? If I lung inhale it does just fine, but that's not my jam..

I don't own that tank, but looking at it, I would think it would be difficult with some of the coils it comes with.

But, there are also some higher resistance coils available for it.
Here are some of them:

Typically I use a kayfun or an RDA for mtl, but maybe some other my folks will have more advice. This thread has alot of mtl people in it.

I don't know about the 'V' but the Apex from the same lineup has a really nice tight draw to it and can be either MTL or DL its a good in betweener but way closer to MTL and it uses the same coils. I recommend the .5 ohm clapton coils as they are very decent flavor and vapor production... But again I don't know how the V handles, sorry. :(

The isub V and G both are pretty airy. I use the 0.5 coil with the air nearly closed and still get a decent DL draw.

That said, I had the 1.0 and 1.2 coils and couldn't use tgem because the draw was too tight for me.

Try that and see if it helps.
