So just getting into building and just wanted to see what everyones opinion was in regards to "back pinching" with nylon pliers ( example* captioning 1/2" at a time, and then using nylon pliers on the part I just captioned to ensure the cores are in line under the wraps). I'm usually pretty good I pinching small sections before I caption, but when working with 4 + cores I typically have to "back pinch" to keep things going smoothly.

If it helps you achieve the build then there's no harm in straightening your cores out, in some case it's a must, like if your cores are about to collapse. Looks good from what I can see dude
