Hi all, just bought myself a goon RDA. Preciously owned a tsunami 24. Love the build deck but I'm not getting enough flavour. I only have 24g kanthal at hand. Ive tried a normal dual 9 wrap on 3mm build coming out at 0.44ohms. And dual parallel 10wrap on 3mm at 0.2ohms. Getting good clouds but the flavour just isnt there! And its guzzling the juice! Any help would be awseome.

I've only got kanthal 24awg. But I would expect some decent flavour. Tsunami gave me done great flavour on simple builds. I've attached a pic of my build

Strange. Every build I throw in tastes great. Granted I don't make plain wire builds. I always have it full open as well.

Nothing wrong with it, it's just not a flavor coil. Maybe try to space them a bit. Or if you're ambitious. If you only have the 24g hook it up to a drill and run a file or something else over it to rough it up. That would increase the surface area and make more flavor.
Given the larger chamber of the goon, I'd definitely try some different builds when you can.

As long as it wasn't lik throwing a hotdog down a hallway you should be good on the wicking. I think you just need to put some good flavor type coils in there. Simple Clapton's would do.
