My favourite flavour-apparent internal leak, not a clone, real unicorn milk.

Hi people. On the UK forum I have been speaking about DIY and mentioned unicorn milk, and the day after, I got a message in my inbox.

It was an apparent internal leak to unicorn milk! Everyone that has tried it says it is BANG ON unicorn milk, not similar, it IS unicorn milk. It was leaked last month.

They are all CAP flavours, so it seems Cuttwood have a deal with them. It does contain Custard flavours, if anyone is concerned about those flavours.

I am ordering the flavours I need on Saturday, it has a Short steep as well, so even better! Apparently straight off the bat it tastes great, but if you sit it in warm water for an hour, and allow to steep for just TWO days, you have your unicorn milk.

Here is a link to the flavour if anyone wants it. I have asked my source if he knows anymore original recipes, if he does I will also post these.

    Here is the recipe:http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/255064/INTERNAL+LEAK+OF+CUTWOOK+UNICORN+MILK

It is 7 different flavours, most under 1ML, apart from strawberry, which to make 30MLS as bought is 2.55Mls!

On Saturday I am ordering a billow V2, some more flavours, and wire that I need. Included in the flavours will be the 7 for the unicorn milk, as most of them will be nice alone as well.

I advise anyone who wishes to use this to actually save the recipe, as I am not sure if Cuttwood's would/could bring the page down due to it being their own recipe.

I hope you all enjoy it :).

EDIT: Some people were saying it tastes 100% like unicorn milk, not a close clone, but 1 ingredient was released a few months AFTER unicorn milk was released.

The argument was that premium flavour manufacturers are likely to get 'beta' flavours months before us, some that we can not even buy ourselves possibly, just for their brand, thus explaining how this is possible. But everyone has stated it tastes dead on unicorn milk, and is highly likely it is the genuine leaked recipe.

Read all of the reviews, some people have used it side by side unicorn milk, and found it to be the exact same, not similar, but the same.

EDIT 2: I have just thought about ethical reasons here, is this OK to post? If it is not, I will remove it, but as it is such a nice flavour I thought people may appreciate what appears to be the genuine, cuttwoods recipe, not a clone or similar taste, it IS unicorn milk. I am also thinking wether I should remove the link, and anyone who wants it can message me, as I do not want them trying anything against this site. I am not an expert on US laws, so if it is better I do it that way, please let me know and I will edit it out.

I did a podcast the other day where I reveal what this guy did exactly. It's not a leak. It's all BS.

Ahh cool, whats the story behind this then? I am still going to order the flavours as it seems like the genuine article to many people, so even if its not, it must be VERY close.

Plus the flavours needed will be nice alone, so no loss lol.

Yup great podcast, apparently the short version is the guy has access to what they are using but not the recipe then he figures it out, so could be close but not the actual percentages...and of course he might not even have access there is no proof to any of it at this point but whatever:)

So the UM clone is just that a very close clone, which is fine by me as it is the closest clone I have made to the real deal.

Where can I hear the podcast? Ahh so he knew the ingredients, but not percentages, but to hear it is the closest thing to unicorn milk is making me excited. I tried it as Bondo sent me some, and it immediately was my favourite flavour.

I wasn't sure of cuttwood's 'beard' flavour though lol.

Also I really like root beer, its not something we really get in the UK, or at least I have not found it in my local supermarkets. We have something similar called ginger beer, but its not like rootbeer.

Ok I realised I get a twat award as the podcast link was in his signature. What a bellend i can be lol.

EDIT: Wow, I had never listened to a podcast. Over 2 hours in length! Where is the part about the false leak? It is the first one yeah? I don't want to listen to 2 hours and it turn out I listened to the wrong one lol :p (Not that your other podcasts are bad, this is the first podcast I have listened to so wanted to know what the situation was :) )

EDIT 2: I noticed you said about vapers who have been vaping 4-5 months and start making their own juice, I started vaping just over 6 months ago and actually started mixing from the beginning, If I didn't I could not afford all my mods and gadgets :), so I learnt coil building at the same time as juice making. Glad I did though, as I have 6 months experience now, and also learnt as much safety information as possible, that was my main concern.

Ahh good to hear that the maker of the podcast even thought it smelt like it, and tasted like it, and even thought it could be the real thing. Thats good enough for me :), I am salivating now just thinking about it lol.

Also noted how the other guy stated that is basically the recipe there. He may be a bellend, but if it tastes like unicorn milk, with the real flavours, i'm glad its out there, even if it is slightly off.

If it is the genuine recipe however, I would guess the guy could get sued big time.

I will class it as a very good clone for now, as you said vaping side by side it tasted the same, to me thats enough. Shame he did not know the real percentages though.

Well, this is somewhat "old news", but I did mix it up over a week ago and hate to say I don't particularly care for it. Was hoping time would smooth it out but it has a very sharp taste to me and I mixed it to the letter. Perhaps worth a tweak but it tastes over-flavored, and maybe because it is. ;)

Oh, it's not bad, and the flavors certainly won't go to waste.....lol! There's just a sharp "edge" to it that's definitely a turnoff IMO. I'm thinking it's the strawberry, maybe cut it back some, possibly even increase a cream. It's not smooth at all to me.

I saw the recipe a couple of days after it posted and mixed it on 9-18 after receiving the missing ingredients. I have 18 days steeping so far and have tried it along the way. The hype really started when Wayne said it was spot on and now it is a soap opera over at e-liquid.

I wish I would have kept some of the actual Unicorn Milk but finished off the bottle about 2 months ago. My initial reaction to this clone is it is not as creamy and after 18 days steeping it is not the clone like most have realized. It is not bad though and the ingredients used may very well be in the original recipe but something is missing.

It's pretty close but it's the best close I have had....possibly the strawberry could be brought down a bit and the buttercream increased along with the vanilla bean.

I did substitute the strawberry for caps peaches and cream at 6% and brought up the vanilla custard by 2.5%..... It's fricken wonderful, tastes like those peach gummy o's:)

I think something else needs to be added or the percentages tweaked all around, it just doesn't have the body and creaminess of the original. You were spot on Teresa when you said it is sharp as opposed to smooth.

My guess is Cuttwood does use Capella as most California based e-juice makers do, both in the same state.
I finally nailed down the watermelon that Ruthless uses in there EZ Duz it which is a watermelon/strawberry. I still have a bottle of EZ Duz it but of course only enough to smell, not vape. There California based as well and now I know they use Cap, just have to figure out there percentages. EZ Duz it is 90% VG so that makes it easier knowing the flavor base is 10%. I made one yesterday with 4% Cap Sweet Watermelon, 4% Cap Sweet Strawberry and 2% Cap marshmallow and smell wise it is just about the same as the original and taste wise it is very tasty. Not sure if that 3rd ingredient is marshmallow, might be sweetener or something else but just as long as I like it then who cares.

Dragon Fruit goes with any cream/custard in my book! But it's generally stronger than other berries, always start low. ;)

The above flavors were just released and I know Cuttwood came out with Unicorn Milk anywhere from 18 months to 2 years ago. Someone on the e-liquid recipe said that vendors have access to beta flavors long before they are released to the general public but 18 months before, I don't think so. I am not sure when Cuttwood started making Unicorn Milk exactly, just looked at there facebook page and saw that around May 1st 2014 they already had pics of Unicorn Milk, they also started there FB page around the same date.

I am calling BS on those 2 flavors being in the original Unicorn Milk, in fact I think the odds that Unicorns actually exist are better :D

About 0.25% to 0.5% of dragonfruit TFA in a cream/custard mix that has strawberries can really make the strawberry pop as well.

So many myths about this entire thing at this point its just a good clone, If the sugar drizzle bear is anything as close I don't really care what story is behind it, if it is ever leaked or made up or cloned:)

You guys are right, who cares if it is not an exact clone if it tastes good to you. Last week I was planning on buying some of my favorite juices so I could try and clone them. Then I thought why waste $50 or more to do that when that could be used to buy more DIY stuff.

I agree, since I started DIY it is very hard for me to buy anything other than supplies for DIY, I think it was from being gouged in the eyeballs for a couple months of buying premiums for 23 bucks for 30 Mls:)

@conanthewarrior so I assume you got to listen to the show? Yeah there's a bunch of fuckery around it, but the recipe is pretty close. If you drop CAP SS down to 6% it's a little closer and creamier. @mjag is right that once I said it was spot on people started to really take notice of it where it grew to this huge thing. Some even thought I was the "Spy" trying to drum up hype to sell my new magazine...which I wish I had thought of cause it's genius. I think the actual recipe is all CAPELLA flavors, and that recipe that Cuttwoodspy posted is on the right track. It's probably A LOT more simple than we think. Most popular vendor juice is only 3-4 flavorings deep. My Sugar Bear clone is CAP VC1 4.5%, CAP Graham 1.5%, and CAP Sugar Cookie 4% and it's pretty darn close

My UK friend said he heats his in the microwave for 6 seconds, or puts it in hot water for a minute or so, and only gives it 2 days, and he is confident I will like it. Having not had unicorn milk in a while, it may be close enough for me to enjoy. I will be making small test batches first, and tweaking it until I get the taste that I remember.

That is, if it does not taste like it, which a lot of people say it does.

I wasn't aware it was old news and not genuine, in the sense he knows the ingredients but not the percentage, kind of like some foods you buy, they list the ingredients but not the % so you can not just make it lol.

Now the real secret recipe I want is not to do with vaping-it's KFC. I would love to be able to make fried chicken that was actual KFC. I understand they use pressure friers though to cook, so the result would not be exactly the same.

Haha that is my fiancees favourite gravy too! Her dad was a professional chef, so it doesn't make him that happy either lol.

I do know they use the scraps that fall off chicken to make it, that is one reason there is a layer underneath the food warmer, but nothing wrong with that, that IS how you make gravy after all lol, using the leftover bits to make a stock then a gravy.

I've not tried the KFC in the USA, But I hear it tastes better. I do not know if that is psychological, or certain ingredients are banned in the UK that are not in the USA. Mcdonalds and Burger king is all meant to be better, and Bigger in the USA as well. Over here the whopper is a fair size, but friends who have had one in America say it really is huge lol.

EDIT: Talking about fast food, and food in general, I do find it disgusting tat after 1 Hour on the shelf Mcdonalds throw away the burgers and make fresh, and the staff are not allowed these, or even better, the homeless.

My lovely local bakers used to throw their Stale bread in a bin out the back, but it was still in its wrapper and edible, just past best before date. The homeless and freegans used to make a meal from the sainsburys bins, and the bakers bins.

They now kindly pour bleach and other chemicals over the bread, it was in our local newspaper as lots of ducks at our local lake had died. Someone had took the bread to eat, realised it was no good because it was wet, and dumped it.

So, not only are they making it unedible, they also do not care if someone starving gets poisoned, and it is only going in the bin anyway, so I think they should leave it and allow they homeless and needy to take it at night.

They cause no trouble, there is no fences or anything they have to climb, to get round the back it is just a normal road, and they do not congregate there all night, they just used to get some bread then leave.

Southeastern Mills makes as brown gravy mix that is very similar, very inexpensive.
And I asked once why that food wasn't donated and was told it opened them up to liabilities. All they needed was one person to sue them for supposed food poisoning and they could be out millions while the homeless person got rich. From my understanding, the homeless are more concerned with something to eat, not suing......

I personally don't eat anything other than the mash and gravy, other than that it's not that good..most of the kfc's we have here are grossly kept, I think dr crimmys lab is cleaner.

I don't eat at McDonald's any more, every time I ate it it made me feel horrible.... It's all gross and ran by a bunch of kids that don't give a shit.

Fast food as a whole is just gross I have grown to hate it more and more these days but I think it's my age, I'm not that old but almost 40, so I'm at that spot where I just can't eat anything anymore, it sucks.

How stupid is that! I'm in the UK, but we are starting to get a 'suing culture' of people just suing over minor accidents to get money, so everywhere is worried they will get sued.

We never used to be like this, if we had an accident, it was just that, an accident, food poisoning? Ok, we won't eat there again, if it was real bad complain to somebody about it, such as health officials, although we have never had to do that luckily (Where we live there are lots of pubs and restaurants, not good for an ex alchy like me, but I have been to a pub lunch with my fiancee and stuck to Pepsi, so know I can do it. Where its been so long without drink, I don't think I will ever slip up as I do not miss it, remember how ill it made me, and I want to live, so will never get back in that boat again.

But, homeless people just want to eat, and 'freegans' understand the risks involved so would not sue.

I really think a Van should go round to the local shops when they shut, anything to be thrown past its 'best before' date is fine to eat, its just best enjoyed before that date, but 'Use by date' should always be stuck to, although if it is only a day or 2 out and it smells OK, I still eat it. Its not like a sausage magically knows the time of day, and at midnight turns from safe in the fridge, to jumping out of its packaging and rolling around in me garden.

I might actually stay up. See if sausages turn evil when the clock strikes midnight on their use by date :p

Thanks for that Sugar Bear recipe, I will have to try that one, I love graham vapes but most have too much cinnamon for my taste.

Any chance you have a Boss Reserve clone with CAP's? all this hype over UM and BR was my favorite CW juice...

I'm just commenting to piss people off, I guess.

But I tried the real stuff the other day. And thought it sucked big time. So, no clone for me. :(

But, if I find a friend who likes it. Maybe I can get him to pay for a few extra DIY supplies ;)

Never tried the original myself. But this is supposed to taste so much like it. If what I mixed tastes just like it, I'd never pay for it. Not my cup of tea either.

I do have an update on the UM I made from this recipe. After a 9-day steep I made myself try it again and it's smoothed out considerably. Although I do still believe the strawberry percentage could be cut back some, it isn't nearly as "sharp" as it was a few days ago. The creams aren't very noticeable as of yet, but I'm wondering if they may "pop" in a few more days. Gonna cap it and try it again in another week.
It's actually good. The strawberry fans I mix for will like it. But I still have no real comparison to the original as I've never tasted it. But as it stands at this moment, it's good.

Hmmm, I may have to give this a try. I do like the strawberry.

I didn't like the original. And maybe this isn't an exact clone. ;)

I thought about that too. It could just be a good strawberry vape. For what everyone charges for Cuttwood, I'll never find out. ;)

I paid 22.64 for this the other day. I have GOT to quit forgetting things when I leave home. :(

Note the top is stuck on the bottle. And yes, I wound up wearing some of it.
