Hi guys/gals. I decided to play around with a chimney coil this weekend. I made mine out of twisted 24g 316ss. 3mm diameter. Boy does this have amazing flavor. It wicks really good in my serpent and flavor is absolutely top notch. It ain't pretty but it's functional!

Nice!

How did you wick it, any pics of that?

Is that the IPV D3S it is sitting on?

It is sitting on an ipvd3. I'll have to take a pic. I spread out cotton candy wicking to be as wide as the coil. And ran it around the coil. One end into one juice hole...wrapped it around the coil and doubled back to the other juice flow hole. I do get a littl3 bit of spitback.... but no leaking and no dry hits so I am real happy with it.

I took a pic of the wick and have no idea what happened to it.
