OP for gods sake don’t take sandpaper to your mod. Certainly not 400 grit! You’ll ruin the finish. The dings will likely show up through a wrap at this point.

I never suggested sandpaper and a bit confused why you quoted me?

if I were going for a brushed finish. sandpaper on a block, and the knowledge to do it right, is what I would do.
been there, done that.
though a scuff pad could work, idk, never tried it.

for a skin. fill the dings with JBweld.
