Any solution for this pain in the ass?

Is it sticking, like mine was? Take it apart and clean it nice and good. If you have copper or brass, try vinegar or lemon juice. Just wipe it down, and rinse it in water, and dry it real good. Not sure about SS, but my guess is a little bit of rubbing alcohol might do it.

yeah everytime i lock it down or up i have to pry it back off
