New Cotton in RDA tasted bad

Hey, so I just changed my cotton in my RDA, juiced it up and vaped, but I tasted terribly burnt. Also, my coils still look pretty fresh and the juice I used is one of my favourites. What could be the reason for this?

Is the cotton in there snugly? If it's loose you'll get a burning flavor.

Could also be a hotspot.

look for a brown spot on the sides of your cotton wick. This is a good indicator that you have a hot leg. Tighten your screw a bit or reposition that leg of the coil for a better fit.
