New to mech mods

I'm new to mechanical mods and was wondering what would be the best mod for longer battery life and the least amount of battery drop off.

The battery will play more into the length of life it has. Sony's and Samsungs are great battery's.

A dual battery, unregulated box would be a long runtime option. I'm guessing you're looking for a tube, but just wanted to make sure you know about the mech box option.

A smpl mod allows the atty direct contact with the battery and has low voltage drop.

Gots me a SMPL coming in the mail. There's a Derringer with it.

+1 for the SMPL. Small and efficient. Low voltage drop. Just make sure the positive pin sticks out past the threads on your Atty, or it could short itself and #problem

What form factor, tube or box, one battery or two?

If it's a tube, functionally the SMPL is by far my favorite.
