You'll need a dependable ohm reader to start. I've had bad luck so far with them so i cannot recommend a specific brand, but other folks might. Good batteries are a must. I've been happy with the MXJO's. Search youtube for ohm's law, watch as many vape related videos you can find. Education is the most important part, and it's also the least expensive. Try and avoid getting a mod with a hybrid top cap at first, they can be a little tricky when you're just getting into mechs. Good luck!

Hi @FireBugBezo - congrats, you're the first person I'm going to refer to this thread, which I've spent the last couple days setting up:

http://www.vapingunderground.com/th...s-or-the-i-want-sick-clouds-bro-thread.76012/

Lots of info for beginners seeking an advanced user setup, with links and tutorials...if you're not a smoker and you don't know what you're doing just yet, please don't use nicotine in your juice as it's more likely to get you sick than get you high, and please consider a regulated mod for your first purchase before jumping into mechs - you can get a Sig 100, an ohm meter, a pair of batteries, a good charger, and a clone RDA with some wire and cotton for not much more than your $150 CDN budget, and it'll blow a mech out of the water as far as what you'll be able to accomplish as a new builder...

Wait a minute...you're 18? Is it even legal for you to have access to this kind of stuff in Canada?

On top of @OBDave 's thread above please read threw these threads as well....I am sorry but I have to ask...at 18 were you even a smoker or are you just seeking to get into cloud chasing? If you never smoked than it is very important that you stick with nicotine free liquid...I know this was said above but it will make you sick if you don't. Also I recommend going for a regulated mod and a sub-ohm tank at best as your next step. Regardless of what you buy, if it has a RDA option whether it be a dripper or a Kanger Sub Tank please get an ohm's reader...they're invaluable to help making sure you're coils are safe.

High wattage dripping for massive vapor production even with the right build and airflow can be quite uncomfortable if you're not used to it...it's something you have to work up to. Kinda like boiling lobster, you just cant throw it in a boiling pot of water, you've got to slowly turn the temp up and not let em realize what's going on till it's too late. Also, you'll need to pay close attention to the ohm's law and battery safety sections of the information provided above if you do decide to go with a mech...below are links to a basic ohm's law calculator and the Steam Engine coil building tool. They are pretty self explainitory but if you need help with the steam engine there are guides here on the forum to help you with it. I wish you the best of luck in your vaping endeavors and hope that you heed the advice given to you and stay safe...safe vaping is happy vaping :)
