hi all,

best thing i ever did was walking into a vape store 3 weeks ago. i traded a old dirt habit, for a new healthy hobby, lol.

i've been a thousand places in the web in the past bit and didn't bookmark everything that i should have, including links that were buried in thread on this forum.. i came across a site that was selling RDA's for like $10. does anyone know the online store i'm talking about?

not an Ebay seller. this was a link to website posted in some thread. from what i remember why these were in clearance, section. i believe they were *old* patterns. nothing that would earn you any points with the in crowd, but just great decks to build on.

It would be easier if you where to tell us the RDA's if you can remember them.

I just ordered two RDA's from Slowtech (Fasttech) for about that price just for building coils on and taking pics for coil porn.

Gearbest or Fasttech are two of the main ones for cheap prices. I haven't dealt with Gearbest but have with Fasttech. I have seen reports that GB isn't the greatest but don't take my word for it since I haven't personally bought from them Fasttech is slow but gets you what you buy.

Example: I just bought for my builds.
1. Velocity RDA $8.50https://www.fasttech.com/p/2482500
2. Mutation X RDA $10.18

Not saying to buy there just those are about the only two places unless they are being clearanced that I know of that you can buy from that cheap. The trade off is you have to wait for them to get to you.

I will try tomorrow to find what you were talking about. I remember seeing a thread in VU guy was talking about how he bought a lot of things for about $40. It was some older styles of equipment. So if it is a few months old it is old in vaping industry.

this. all for the warm welcome. this thread has given me a great start.

as far as ohm's law,,,,,, I didn't start vaping only to blow my face off, lol. I'll have a tester in hand before I even wrap my first coil.

And for an Rda you get what you pay for. So buying a cheap rda might sound good but you'll pay for it on vapors quality. Theirs tons of really good 25 dollar Rda's look on YouTube best of 2015 rda's

This is a great mod for a great price some of the more experienced vapors will bitch about the chip it uses but it would more then meet all your needs. The alternative to this box is 200 bucks.

i really wanted this mod but ended up getting the IPV 4S instead. there was only a $15 CAN difference at my B&M, but the larger charger and extra battery put it beyond my price point. i was pushing it with the Household Financial Officer as it was, and that would have really done it, lol. having said that, i love my IPV. with the RTA in my Subtank Mini; it rocks.

the Velocity and its clones seem to be a good starting point. would this fit the bill? https://www.fasttech.com/products/3975900 . if not, could you point me in the right direction?

Velocity style is awesome, I love it as do most vapers but as far as this clone goes I can't say much because I've never seen or used ones. The deck is just one aspect airflow and juice well matter just as much. Personally I go for cyclonic airflow. Also I don't see where they mention what insulator this uses. You want peak it won't melt and won't taste like ass if burnt a little. I'm not much help on pointing you in the right direction cause I don't own any clone rda's and most of mine are fairly expensive.

i've been looking for the points that are sacrificed in the function-fit-finish triangle on *inexpensive* gear. soft screws, and crappy insulators seem to be one thing to look out for. having said that; is it possible to buy PEAK insulators as an aftermarket product?

I bought a silver and black one from here. Tobeco makes good clones. Catch them when they have a sale.

By the time you have invested in new insulators and screw and what not say it only costs you 10 bucks you mind as well just spend 25 on a authentic rda and not have to worry about it. Imo is all up to personal preference but most rda's are completely repairable but finding spare parts to fit might be a struggle.

Check my post in hardware trades, I'm selling an authentic plumveil rda 15 bucks. Also a good place to look for deals. Just another option for ya.
