I'm back.
Ok my nemesis mod came.
so i have the mod, kayfun lite plus and 2 350 batteries.
I don;t have any wire or cotton for the coil.
I do have the two coils that came with the kayfun (i cut off most of the wore after the coil). i installed that coil in my kayfun.
I get no vap, feels like it's plugged when i hit it. I checked my resistance with a volt meter and I'm about 1.1 ohms.
i have both air holes lined up but it feels like sucking on a thumb.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

there is something restricting the airflow ,,,,I wish I was just there,,,,can you tear it completely down(the base part)and see if may be there is some packing or something blocking it

wipe it off if you don't want juice on your face and see if you can blow through it from the top side through that center tube below where the wick goes

in the above pic, see the white little plastic piece? it came out when i removed the one side of the coil. put it back together and now have airflow. not sure if it should be there or if it can be removed.

that's your insulator for your positive pin you need that or you will have a dead short,,,,just lay that where it goes and see if you have airflow

its not making sense, something is blocking it,,,,,you need to take the airflow screws out and see if you cant find your blockage ,,,,do you have some fine wire you could use like a roto rooter to find your blockage

I figured out the issue, the center screw holding the one side of the coil had a piece of white plastic stuck in the middle of it. I removed the blockage and it now works. used it all day and it was way better than my kangertech.
I now have another issue, it came with 2 coils and i ruined one coil setting it up and getting it to work. so one coil in it and thats it until after the holidays when i have a little cash to stock up on supplies. no local stores sell any of the stuff to build your own mod.
so how long does a coil usually last with a silica wick?

the coil should last,if it gets burnt you can remove the silica and dry burn the coil to clean it and get a little more use out of it,then rewick it with regular cotton,(I like cotton better anyway)just be careful taking the old wick out

I have a coil in mine that has lasted over a month. Koh gen doh cotton is great for wicking the kayfun. Glad you have it all working?
