We must spread the word to get this beast of a prototype on the market. And maybe they can clean up all the line designs on the tank and get the inside stainless steel color tinted black for more stealthiness.
But they did say it was the velocity style deck. I ordered it, so I sure hope they're right!Cvapor also has it but shows a 2 post deck.
Good looking out. What a fantastic tank.Wetvapes has it! Velocity style deck. I ordered it. Vape on!
I'm such a cheap bastard.I know that's a lot for shipping but I just hate waiting a month (fastech) to get my order.
did you get it yet? how is it? also, can you share the ten percent off coupon please? thanks bro = ]Fasttech just listed this today. https://www.fasttech.com/products/3796200
I can't seem to find a better deal with the newest post design. I might get one from Wet Vapes $35.64 after shipping and 10% coupon, but I just can't see paying $5.95 for shipping.
its out in white, enjoy = ]I'm waiting for a white v3 to come out. Hopefully it will happen.
seriously...just waiting for regular vape mail drives me nuts. i'd lose my mind waiting a month lolI'm such a cheap bastard.
I've had it now for a few weeks and loving it. The coupon code XMAS 10% off was for November only. The same code can be used this month for 5% off. FT lowered the price of the Cruis from $29.55 to $26.05. I got my 25awg kanthal in yesterday and wrapped 2 coils(2.5mm -7 wraps) and put them in one of my Billow V2s and it's reading .34ohms and it's the magic #. I'll do the same with the Cruis today. I've been trying to duplicate the coils that come with the Cruis and I'm now convinced 25awg is what they use. http://www.ebay.com/itm/301652551074?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITdid you get it yet? how is it? also, can you share the ten percent off coupon please? thanks bro = ]
so how does it perform? does it live up to the epic hype? just been burned waaaay too many times by the hype-machine also known as the vaping industry, smfh...I've had it now for a few weeks and loving it. I was the same way. I gave up buying RTA's for awhile after none really satisfied me and ended up using my subtank as my main tank. Then at the end of this year they finally started producing some tanks that made sense. I bought a Bellus and though a nice RTA, still unreliable as far as top refills are concerned. Maybe It's just me, but even with the juice channels loaded with cotton it would still leak briefly on refill, unacceptable and just sits empty. Then the Billow V2 came out so I bought one. Great tank, bought two more for my son and I. I kept my eye on the Cruis as it went through it's changes and pulled the trigger when they added the V deck. The airflow wide open is more than ample and can be adjusted down without sacrificing vape and flavor. I am now satisfied with my RTA selection between the Billows and my Crius. In my opinion the Cruis is worthy of the hype and not a waste of hard earned $$$$$$$. If you do go for it, do yourself a favor and grab some 25awg kanthal. I don't do fancy smancy builds and the 25awg is giving me the same vape as the coils that came with my tanks.so how does it perform? does it live up to the epic hype? just been burned waaaay to many times by the hype machine also known as the vaping industry, smfh...
Also, do you know if the crius' deck can fit 3 mm coils? Honestly, i dont know why that is such a rarity among 22 mm rta's across the board. like almost none of them can hold a 3 mm id coil, just a 2-2.5 mm.I've had it now for a few weeks and loving it. Yeah, i completely agree about the Bellus having a flawed top fill...basically any top fill device that doesn't also have a functional juice flow control is bound to leak when refilling, there's basically no getting around that and i'm surprised it took modders this long to actually start encorporating juice flow controls in their new devices. its basic physics/fluid dynamics: if you change the pressure in the tank vs the chimney they are going to act in a way to counteract the pressure differential, which in this case takes the form of juice piling into the chimney to even out the differential. I still use my Bellus at the time of writing this reply, i just fill it exclusicely by taking out the build deck and filling it through the juice flow slots. works perfectly and never get a single damn drop of liquid leaked. I will definitely conceed it's a bit of a hassle/annoyance when you compare this method to a functional top fill design, but hey it's really not that bad in the meantime. i think I'm more willing to forgive it because of how well the Bellus performs compared to my other rta's ie lemo drop (fucking hated it), zephyrus (very splashy, like hit and miss sometimes it worked well sometimes it was flavorless and wicked terribly plus the coils were shit), the silverplay (terrible wicking), the orchid rta any version (seriously, what are they up to now like the V9 or V10 smfh), etc etc etcI was the same way. i dont think i have even seen 25 awg kanthal for sale ever, only 24 or 26 awg. have you tried SS 316L to wrap your coils? between the SS and my nichrome N80 i have really been amazed with the awesome flavor.I was the same way. They're a REAL PITA to get apart new. I used those rubber thingys that are used to take jar lids off with a rag under pliers(I didn't want to scratch up the metal) . Someone suggested soaking in hot water which will most likely work. I haven't attempted to separate the base from the deck. I don't know if it's press fit or not. I can't find any credible info.Well, I've had my two Crius tanks since Tuesday, and so far, I'm loving them! I'm still vaping them in power mode with Kanthal, but hope to order some Ti and SS soon so I can run them in TC mode. So far, they have been almost flawless. The only problems I have is I had one slight leak that is probably my fault as I think I overfilled it a bit, and for the life of me, I can't tear it down further than removing the base. I know it's designed to come apart, but I'm afraid I'm gonna break it trying to take it apart. Any suggestions on how to tear this thing down without destroying it?
I've heard it's a press fit, and you will destroy it if you take the base apart. Not even gonna try that. I'd just like to take the top off to make it easier to clean. I'll try the hot water trick and see if that works. They're a REAL PITA to get apart new. If your talking about the part that lifts up to open the fill hole, I don't think that comes apart. It would be nice if it did.I've heard it's a press fit, and you will destroy it if you take the base apart. Not even gonna try that. I'd just like to take the top off to make it easier to clean. No, not the top by itself, but it's supposed to separate from the tank for cleaning, or glass replacement. If your talking about the part that lifts up to open the fill hole, I don't think that comes apart. It would be nice if it did.
Now we're on the same page. Just be very patient and use common sense when first taking it apart. I've read of people sticking screw drivers in holes and bending things, then blaming it on poor quality. No, not the top by itself, but it's supposed to separate from the tank for cleaning, or glass replacement.
