OBS Engine Deck Darkens

Hi there, my friend got an OBS engine last month and use it frequently but this is the current condition of his atomizers deck after one month:

Is it normal? What cause this? Does it a threat to the health? Is it possible to change it back to the original condition?

Must like a hot vape..... there's a lot of extra heat going on there...
Don't need to dry burn that hot...... if that's happening wet how is he avoiding flare-ups. That much heat should cause fire.....
