Was that real or a joke?
Got that correct.
I'm sure it's in the works
At publishing time, California had unveiled a tax on taxes, charging residents a luxury tax for the privilege of being taxed.

When I looked at the guess, it said 15mph wind.
I think every government employee in that state needs to spend the rest of their lives in a mental institution (NOT at taxpayers' expense).
Probably was... IN Faith (the official anemometer is 30 miles east of us).
Or a Prison.
I think every government employee in the country needs to go to prison.
98% of them should be institutionalized.
Have good one, need to head to a new job in the morning....
G'nite, Dale. Catch ya tomorrow.

Smart Water for IDIOTS?
More "tainted" mEdiCiNe?
See you have a heatwave arriving soon....40's and partly cloudy.....sounds like a winner.
I think we hit 38 today, but that wasn't enough to melt any of this damn snow.
How much do you have...couple inches?
Was decent here today, about 60-65....lil chilly this morning but it feels good.
As an average, I suppose 6", but there are places we still have to walk (like the cow pen) that have between 12-18"
Heading to the mountains tomorrow morning and Friday, looking for gold...need to work this weekend tho.
So what ya gonna do if you actually strike it rich? Gonna retire from inspecting? What would happen to the Ecuador home if you have to babysit a gold mine in Arizona?
Gotta hit the rack....I'm whipped.... Have a good one tomorrow.
Nitey nite, amigo. Here's some parting grins...
Speaking of DISTRACTING........\
Remember the Clinton Administration?
Every time Wild Bill got caught with his hand in the Cookie Jar, or grabbing at the ladies, he also had his own and nearly foolproof way of distracting the press and the public away from him.
Joycelyn Elders, our then Surgeon General did something even more Bizzare than what Clinton had done
And almost IMMEDIATELY after he got caught.
It started with her having a Surgeon General Uniform. She was a "General" so she needed to dress like one.
And my own favorite, Teaching the fine art of Masturbation in Public Schools.
Gotta wonder what homework was like? How were final exams conducted?
Well, Dale, did you get any gold? So, are you rich now? Wait, I'm Rich; you're Dale. Never mind...
What's happening man.....
I see your having better weather now then you had all "summer".........
Didn't get shit yesterday, but tomorrow's job postponed till after christmas, so I'm heading back to the mountains in duh morning.
Well, the weather guessers are lying again. Warm? Yesterday's high (when neither of us posted here), the high was 32 (precisely 32.0) and today was 36 (35.7). Maybe it is as simple as that they are not taking into account the snow on the ground keeping the temperature down. They might think that 43-degree air is going to be here, but with all this snow, it was in the low-to-mid 30s.
Anyway, we went over to Pine Creek Ranch and brought Cricket and Oliver home. Cricket's patch says the bull rode her, so hopefully she is pregnant and I parked that damn trailer and won't have to use it again for a year.
So your says the weather hasn't changed much from summer.
Well, perhaps the precipitation is similar (snow instead of rain), but the temperature was warmer then... at least I didn't need snow shoes to cross the pasture.
That's right, you needed hip-waders.....
Right! But I have a bigger problem with frozen nuts than I do with wet.
I have to get out of here, leaving before first light in duh morning.....
Have a good Saturday, if I find any nuggets I'll send you one.....
Have a good sleep and don't work too hard.
What would I do with it? Hmmmm... maybe put it on a chain and hang it around Lannie's neck. She's worth her weight in gold... ummm, how big is that nugget? (boy, I could be in deep doo doo now).
I was thinking about doing that....have a jeweler drill a hole and put it on a gold chain....would prolly look slick
I use a Dremel tool and tiny carbide bits. It really is pretty easy.
Dale was trudging through the Arizona desert in search of gold. What he found was a lot of free-range asses. Ride 'em cowpoke!
(OK, OK... they are actually part of Arizona's feral burro population, but the HaHa portion wouldn't work with the word "burro." Sigh.)
Lannett Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Levetiracetam Oral Solution, 100mg/mL Due to Microbial Contamination
Lannett Company, Inc. today announced that it is voluntarily recalling two (2) lots of Levetiracetam Oral Solution, 100mg/mL to the consumer level due to contamination with Bacillus subtilis. The Bacillus subtilis was identified during an evaluation of a raw material used to manufacture the product.
I wonder how many thousands of "contaminations" slip by without being caught and recalled?
(Sing along) Someone's knocking at the door, someone's ringing the bell, open the door and let him in....
Here comes the boom
LOTS of contamination in this day and age..........
Here's a temperature funny:
Yesterday, our high was 45.5 at about 2 PM (barring frontal activity, every day's high is typically early afternoon). Today the high was 45.5 also, but at 9 AM, then it started down (it is 32 at the moment and still dropping slowly). I guess the "December Summer" is over now. Well, hell, we could be in New South Wales, Australia, where it is 115...
Was pretty decent today, bout 65-70....but it's supposed to begin raining tomorrow for about 4-5 days.....hope it dumps enough so we don't get - or need anymore till next summer......
