In June, Canadian researchers who studied 230 students in Grade 9in Ontario who use e-cigarettes also found that 75 per cent did not use them for their intended use: to help kick nicotine addiction.

NO! Their intended use is to help kick SMOKING TOBACCO CIGARETTES
Don't let these fuckers move the goalpost on you.

Then we have this part:

Youngsters who tried vaping to quit smoking were more likely to keep using e-cigarettes months later, the study found. Only about 6 per cent of those surveyed tried e-cigarettes for that purpose, but about
80 per cent of this group stuck with the devices.

But here we have the same study with a different claim about the same group of teens:

http://news.yale.edu/2016/08/08/low...ng-spur-prolonged-e-cigarette-use-among-youth

Yale researchers — led by Krysten Bold, postdoctoral fellow, and Suchitra Krishnan-Sarin, professor of psychiatry — went back six months later to track who was still using e-cigarettes. Youths who had said they were initially attracted to e-cigarettes because of the low cost of e-cigarettes or because they wanted to quit smoking combustible cigarettes were more likely to have continued vaping.

In fact, those who reported trying e-cigarettes to quit smoking were 14 times more likely to continue vaping. However, the long-term benefits of using e-cigarettes to quit cigarette smoking among youth are unclear, the study found, since 80% of youth who said they first tried vaping to help quit smoking were still smoking cigarettes six months later.

SO, DID "80 per cent of this group stick with the devices" OR DID "80% of youth who said they first tried vaping to help quit smoking were still smoking cigarettes six months later."???

These 80% are now vaping or still smoking?

They can't have it both ways so why are they fucking lying to us about it??? - 5150

I suppose a lot of people don't want to stop smoking, not really so now they don't want to stop vaping.
Still it's better to keep vaping then keep smoking.

Come to find out it isn't even their fucking study:
http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/content/138/2/e20153983

I did notice one interesting name attached to the study: Jonathan M. Samet

Yep the same Jonathan M. Samet who claimed "Touching a Chair in a Restaurant Could Be Hazardous to Your Health if Vaping is Allowed"

I wouldn't trust anything that this clown is involved with:

So glad you found that study. I thought you had posted previously a few times that it was a CA study and not CT. Liars
