Not getting much flavor at all from this build. Idk if it's the type of coil or what is happening? It's on a pico's squeeze. Tricore fused clapton ohming at .42. Is that too high for the pico? Even if I use it on the pulse 80w it's not getting much flavor... 20191013_135129-0.jpg

It might just be the angle of the pic, but maybe too much cotton blocking the air flow. In squonks I want the wicks to be just touching the bottom of the well.

I found a 26 ga SS316 3mm id 10 wrap parallel coil to be best for me in a Wasp Nano.
And yes around .35 is better for the pico. a .42 with that mass will not heat properly in a nano. A VTC5A will hit noticeably harder than most batteries in the Pico or any unregulated. It might run that coil but a 30Q or 20R or HG2 will not.
Been vapin a Wasp/Squeeze combo daily for a couple of years now.

I don't know that RDA, but it sure looks that way to me, too. Looks, to my inexpert and completely inexperienced (with that RDA) eye like it'd need a smaller diameter coil and a lot less cotton.

With that one, I always installed the coil, bellydown- or upside down as compared to the traditional way.
Also, center the coil and be sure the airway is clear of cotton.

25R works fine for the Wasp/Squeeze combo just have to use a lower mass coil.
    And around .25 -.35 ohms.

It's a different rda but same concept

Mount your coil like that, and use a 26g parallel coil around 3 mm internal diameter.
    You'll have flavor for days.

That ^^^^^ is more what I'd expect to see for that RDA.

Less cotton in length and center the coil.

I've found that while using a fused clapton with more than 2 cores it worked best with smaller gauge wires like f1r3b1rd. A regular dual core fused with smaller gauge or 26g parallel worked best. The height the coil is positioned is also a big factor. I liked it where the top of the coil was about even with the top of the deck. If you look through the airflow holes and you can see the bottom of the coil about mid way but you can also see all the way through the bottom worked best.

I highly recommend the Samsung 20S. It hits harder than the VTC5A, and have more amps too. According to mooch it is the hardest hitting 18650 thus far. You can get them for $5 each at 18650batterystore. I use them in all my 18650 mechs. Great batteries.

I would comment on the wasp and a build, but it looks like everything I would have said has already been said.

Don't know if you are taking it hard, or not. Will say I wouldn't take it too hard. We aging dogs might be a little slower to get there, but we still get there. Something said for that, I suppose. Cannot think right now though what is said. A bit distracted, life does that.

Not taking it hard at all. Just glad that the OP was given solid info by multiple sources that all point him in a good direction. I just felt repeating it wouldn't be too helpful, especially since I was so late to the party. Mostly commented just to recommend a good battery.

I figured about as much, anymore though better to not presume much. I too saw the OP had got a lot of good advice. My comment to/with you was not meant in any negative form at all. Kind of felt the shared sense of being late to help. *chuckles*
