    Back to Basics
Dual 10 wrap, 3mm, 24g, A1 build in a 13 Heavens 9 Hells, on a Noisy Cricket, at .54 ohms, .6 after wick and juice. Hits like a truck and Clouds and Flavor are better than I remember.

11 and 2 half wraps make 12. Maybe I'm wrong though

Edit oh my bad you're right. I counted eleven the first time. But it's 10 and 2 halves

I love it! Noisy Cricket Fo Lyfe!

12/11 lol, but hey who's counting? Anything over 8 wraps and I call it "a fuckton of wraps for a series mod"
Just one half wrap I think, 11 full wraps then one more half to make the leads face the same direction

So damn confusing to me some times. I spent 2 years wrapping one less for counting the first half as a wrap. Ugh

You’re right, it’s a fuck ton of wraps but the flavor and cloud production is pretty damn good. Lots of surface area.

nice work @Locomotion 40gauge fuse is hard

nice noisy cricket build @Tanker  i am partial to 2x28ka1 fused claptons for a smaller series build. i like it around .4 (a hair lower), but its easy to mellow out with an extra wrap or two.

I don’t think I could ever vape on a series mod again without a series rda... those things are heavenly ... I really wish a few more would be released.

thats pretty much what i said when i sat up from fusing the second pass of this and seeing it was clean  its funny, if you get the angle right, you can go as fast as you want. if you make a mistake and stop/rewind, it takes like 10 mins to go an inch to get it all cleaned up and find the groove again. i made 9 inches in total and i swear 90% of the time i spent on the second pass was for about 3 different inches :giggle:

if you are referring to the oracles that specialize in database technology, then this is not the same mailing list. these oracles mainly use mountaintop signal fires and freaky visions to communicate. they only recently got a mail server set up as well. way late to the party on that one.

    8x0.3 + 28 frames/40 Kanthal D
    5.5 wraps 3mm
    Lucky 0.13 ohms

It looked better with my eyes than with a camera, not too bad though
    Screenshot_20180213-101441.png

    *passes out from cloud overdose*

I tested out the 46 on one strand of 28 for a MTL build, tried to take a picture...my eyes can't see wraps and neither can my camera

@CrazyChef v2.0 that gator tail coil looks like its got a weird photoshop filter on it or some kind of under water thing going on. i had to open in a new window and zoom in a little to 'get over it' and see it properly  wild

Here's a couple better shots. It's pretty easy to make. It takes a few wraps to catch, but once it does it's pretty easy going after that. Gotta angle the outer wire forward a bit like wrapping an alien. Also works best with 40g or thinner wire.

The only thing fancier I sometimes make is a staple staggered fused clapton and the flavor on those is tits, but they are wide as hell and I don't always feel like vaping my tits off all the time lol. I highly recommend Nichrome man, super quick ramp up time.

I'm vaping on it now it wasn't what I was expecting great vapor production hands down but the flavor is right under the 3 core aliens imo.

The staple staggered fused clapton? What device you have it on? Hey flavor is totally subjective anyway!

Thanks Ishka :) well I’ve found two things: is a little spitty with the bare twisted wire and it takes a little longer to heat

I think it more for looks than practicality although it still kicks out plenty of flavour and cloud

Lovely Alien by the way!! Nice work

2x26 with 46, different color stages, light blue/green is first, then gold, then purple, then...looks like a rainbow, depending on the lighting
    Screenshot_20180214-083832.png Screenshot_20180214-084111.png
My phone can't handle this lol
    Screenshot_20180214-085724.png

It actually seems like the thinner the wire, the farther behind the wrap I can hold the spool - this kept going forward until I was like 10 degrees or more Behind where it was wrapping
