Ummmm.... What about a mod that does 60w but with a button you can use to set it to 40w?

See my point? The max power of the mod doesn't dictate battery life. Whet you set it does.
That way if someone like me doesn't mind carrying an extra battery or two they can go ahead and set it higher.
It was my first high powered mod...

I thought that I had arrived.

I was sadly disappointed, and fell back to my Provi mods.

Hell dude, the first time I got the flavor of more than 15w I was done!
Now I single coil it at 30w when I need to watch the battery but normally it's 50-55w for an adv. Or the hexohm up wards of 4-4.2v
Keeping a few extra batteries on me is usually no biggie

Right now, I am vaping on a Renegade X Mod kit I built.

.3 ohm at 58.8 watts. Dual series batteries. Nice toy.

But, I so want ProVape to pull a rabbit out of their hat.

Mhm, have the dna200 with ss In tc with a Petri dotmod, 0.21 ohms with a 115w preheat and 65w set.

Would love to see them do something amazing, but that's a tall order that only time will tell.

at one time ,provari's only real competitor was from evolv, but evolv fell down for the longest time
personally i'd like to see the pro mod be a VA with TC.they may be headed that way ??
if they did do VA ? im not going to say "game changer" but it would change everything

I would hate to see them try and start yet another variable 'x' category.
I'm not disagreeing with you, but, honestly If they pumped out a 50-60w box that didn't need a stopwatch to navigate I would more than likely try and get one.

I can't see Provape chasing a saturated market for max watts, which likely represents less than 5% of all vapers. It just doesn't fit their target market or business model.

It would seem foolish to compete mainly on specifications while trying to maintain high standards of quality and reliability and making it in the US.

Although the Radius won't satisfy one segment of the market, they'll sell thousands of them to the segments they serve.

Different strokes for different folks.

Hahahaha, I can't see any business, purposely trying to NOT broaden their market appeal. I can't help but see the current lineup as expensive ego batteries. even some egos push more power.... I don't say that as an ass, more of a disappointed customer.

It will be released on Oct 16th...

We will see?!?

I'm in for one. Like I've said before... It'll keep me from buying a dna40 vaporshark.

If you want a DNA40 shark you should pm me, I have 4rdna40s. and I only need two (1 beta and 1 cerekote finish)
But why would you want the 40, when you can get a 200? not form the power but the board is really that much better.

I wonder if this vague video, well vague would be compliment to whatever this video is, is an attempt to see what people want? They have said nothing except this video and it will be over 30 watts. Why all the secrecy. If your ready to post that video, why aren't you ready to give some specs?

That's the way they always do a release. Its also what fucks them up, we were all hoping for a 30w mod that goes to 0.5 with the p3...then they put out the p3. Hahahaha
And yes I ended up getting one, because I'm dumb

While I appreciate that!

I am on a very slow journey. And am trying to experience everything slowly. But, I will get there... One Day!

I think it wasn't being dumb that caused you to buy one.

You bought a Beta Unit, Yes?

Very Wise on your part... Very Wise indeed!

I can almost promise you that won't happen.

That DNA you were looking at, was it for power or tc?

Everytime I see my friend using my (now her) 2-year old Provari that has been dropped from a roof I'm impressed with the longevity of that little thing. I thought the SX Mini was the equivalent, but for that to die in 4 months makes me wonder! I'm interested to see what they come out with, but doubtful that it will fit my needs now.

Oh ok, yeah if you just want 40w, its a great mod, deadly accurate, good delivery. If you wanted tc, the 200, for the options, customization and ability to pick your wire.
And still deadly accurate, I actually prefer the power delivery of the 200 over the 40 also.

If its 50w I'll be first in line. If its 40w I won't justify the expense on a mod that I can only sometimes use.
The 200 has been my adv since it got here.

if that is the case...seems bulky but pics are deceiving

from the side view it looks bulky
from the top it looks fine

so looks like this could have possibilities

At least it has + and - buttons. Might mean a more navigable menu system.

I doubt it will be a coin slot, Provape will take all your coin, so they probably made it to be opened when you are broke. Maybe it unscrews just like the IPV Mini 2 ... :)
