First attempt at quad parallel build without jig (gotten lazy with coilmaster jigs)
not perfect but is a champ.

After owning the MXV5 for a few years now bored of the premade Clapton's and dual parallel on&off post and single coil using various wires and sizes I come to conclusion this is (in my opinion) best build for this particular RDA. Provides both great cloud production without muted flavour. And cheap to make too. Nothing too crazy here either..

Putting into consideration the MXV5s surface area with and without post & airflow above post by raising top coils slightly above top of post & bottom coils lower but more towards edge (also considering the various airflow options for this RDA) heat perfectly distributes upon wick

I only post to share recommendation. Starting out using the MXV2 - MXV5 I found its a challenge to get a good balance between cloud and flavour: Either good cloud and muted taste or good taste but ''weak" hit due to discussed or just simply lack of surface area utilization.. though with this I hope to share experience-based knowledge to those who seek it (assuming this isn't the norm)

26ga a1 kanthal ,5 3mm wraps (x4)^2 on the Mutated XV5 - .3 ohms
