I just picked up a ipv4s and and wanting to try the temp control, i am currently using my aspire triton with a .4 ohm coil, my question is do i use the ni200 or ti01 setting and whats a good temp to vape at without melting my coil or burning my face off?

You need to be using a nickel coil head. As far as I know the .4 ohm coil that comes with it is stainless steel and wont work with temp control. as long as you have a nickel coil head, I usually vape anywhere from 425 to 500 depending on the juice, but I am also just getting into temp control and my experience is limited. I would say start low and work the temp and the joules up to where you feel satisfied with it

Like the others said You need nickel coils. 'NI200', some mods let you use titanium(TI), but I'm not sure if TI coils are available for aspire.
Ive used a bunch of the ni200 offering that are compatible with the triton, the best I've found are the eleaf ni200 coils, they seem to have much better airflow and last a little longer . I got mine from

Like the others said, set it for 'Ni' lock it in, and ready to roll...im normally around 35-38j and 510° but start low and find your sweet spot, sometimes dropping the power and raising the temp can make a better vape. you just have to fiddleduck for a bit with the settings absinthe airflow.

Enjoy and congrats!!!!
