I bought a Lustro a few weeks ago, and recently started thinking about the screen. Specifically, how well it will hold up to daily use. Tiny scratches aren't that big of a deal as long as they're just cosmetic, but deeper scratches that might interfere with the screen's functionality would obviously be a problem. I bought a screen protector for an iPhone that I'm going to cut down to the Lustro's screen size. Looks like I'll be able to get 4 or 5 screen protectors for the Lustro out of it.

So to everyone who's had a Minikin V2 for a while, how is your screen holding up? Has it scratched easily? Are any scratches interfering with what you're trying to do on the screen?

I have 3 Minikin V2 and no screen scratches that I can see and 1 I have used daily for a year. I do not take these mods out and about so I have not thrown them in my purse, but have put them in a jacket pocket a few times. I have not used any screen protectors either.
I don't have the Lustro so I can't comment on that one, but a few here have that mod and could help with your screen question too.

No scratches on mine so far, but I am pretty gentle on my mods, I have a set mod for work, so don’t worry about that one, but all my others tend to stay in my house 98% of the time.

I have 3 Minikin’s v2 the first 2 are 1 1/2 years old & no scratches on the screen. My Lustro I’ve had for a few months & no scratches either but they stay home & I too am gentle with them.

Thanks. I won't bother putting a screen protector on mine then.
I'm not worried about Lustro owners commenting, that's why I put only Minikin V2 in the title. I only asked for owners of the Minikin V2 to comment on their screens since that mod has been out for a while, and the Lustro is too new for the screen to be scratched up. And since they're both from Asmodus, I'm sure the Lustro screen will hold up fine if the screen on the Minikin V2 has.

Thanks! That's what I thought, but wanted to check with everyone just to be sure.

I have a V2. After dropping it on my garage floor, I keep it in the house now. No scratches on the screen nor did the concrete hurt it, the batteries went flying, that's about it....still works like the day I bought it. It could be my imagination, but the battery life seems to be superior to any other chipped mod I have.
