So guys, I was thinking i just bought some bottles and syringes.

so for example i want to make 50ml of juice, this being 100% right.
i'll just break it down to units 1% would be 50 / 100 = 0.5 so 1% would be 0.5ml

if i would say i want a 70%vg 30% pg, logically i would do 70*0.5 = 35 (ml vg)
and of-course 30%pg would be 30*0.5= 15 (ml pg)

now what about let's say i need to get 8% flavor in there, can i just add it on top of the 100% making it in fact 108%? Or do i need to integrate the flavor in my calculations?

any thoughts on this?
thx

yes you calculate the flavor as a total of the mix
and nicotine as well
most flavoring is PG so its part of the pg so in your example
4ml of flavor and 11ml of pg

now this is assuming 0 nic

So, how i'm thinking of doing this would be splitting the 8% over the the vg and pg values (4% vg, 4%pg).
This would give me 66% vg with 4%flavor ( 70% ) and 26% pg with 4% flavor (30%).
this could be one way of doing it to be easy no?

It's VG/PG not PG/VG

When not measuring weight, for large batches your can measure volume with syringes or pipettes and smaller batches you can do it with the less accurate drops method.

I prefer the http://e-liquid-recipes.com/create. When signed up (for free), you can store your flavors in the flavor stack, do a search for recipes in two ways, safe your recipes. IMO, great advantage, you can access your recipes from any internet enabled device. Where as with a software installed on a computer, you can't. In addition, you would have to make backups, in case your computer's hard drive fails, and you'd have to transfer everything to a new computer, in case your old one fails.
