Braves lost last night....dagnabbit....
Nobody cares about the huddy stealing giants.
HAWKEYES started fall practice yesterday....first game in 4 weeks.
My apologies to the misguided Giants fans everywhere.
I think I layed all that out rather convincingly.

I attended a “couples shower” today.
And not the good one where couples get nekkid and get wet...
It involved a future bride and groom ......and was perplexing cuz in my day the chicky babes had a shower and the dudes met up and ate some animal flesh, drank some beers and tossed a card with some $$$ in it at the guy that thought he needed to get married, and that whole thing was like 45 minutes.
Dudes should NEVER be forced to attend a wedding shower....only the groom to be.....
Have I mentioned that my son is getting married in October?

It’s pretty tame...I think.
My son and his future are both pretty frugal...I think.
I tried to talk them into a Vegas wedding with just the immediate family. That didn’t fly...but I think overall it’s a nice but “affordable “ wedding. I’m sure it’s less than 10 grand and maybe even way less.
$80,000 is insane for a wedding.

The brides family is pretty awesome.
My future DIL a great person and her family is very tight and loving.
She has 2 sisters and a brother and they all spend a lot of time with each other and are very close to one another.
Mom is a part time pastor and a very nice person.
Then there’s our side of the family......
I’m sure part time pastor mom is praying for us.
I pray for you daily and convincingly.
