I just ordered one of these. Reports are that in mech mod it gives a constant 3.3v output regardless of battery charge. Still for $27 couldn't pass it up

I know it's off topic guys but I am having problems with coils, I'm using 26gauge nichrome 80, on a ipv mini and the only coil I can get to work on there is a 8 wrap 3.5 diameternal single coil but I want dual coil, it says I need like 17 wraps per coil or something for it to work but 30w isn't enough to power these coils, can someone help me on a dual coil build with that wore for ipv mini

30 watts will power a twin coil build as long as the resistance is above 0.50 ohms.

So basically, you need to wrap 2 X 1.0 ohm or slightly resistance coils for it to work.

So use this handy tool to figure out the specifics.

But to really take advantage of dual coil builds if you are wanting to chase clouds you may need a device that has more power.

You are right a .6 ohm dual coil 3mm with nichrome80 comes out to 14 wraps
If you switch to kanthal it will take a couple wraps off each coil.
