Generally, cotton balls are fine. A lot of people like to avoid those that are bleached, while others don't care. Can't really tell if these are, or not. If you can find organic ones at your walmart, a lot of people prefer those. Most places (drug stores, groceries... ) do sell organic ones.

The only thing I would avoid is cotton that is scented. The ones you link to don't say scented so I suspect they are not. I would prefer organic over them, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I've vaped a bunch of different wick materials, something like those included, and I'm still alive :)

Just buy 2 bags of Cotton Bacon V2 from Amazon, its like $9 and it'll last you months. I wouldn't risk using cotton balls for vaping. They are completely adulterated with chemicals. I've never used them personally but I've read that if you boil them first before vaping on them that their perfectly fine.

Been vapin Salon Coil cotton for over 2 years.
US grown, non organic and bleached.
Cost me $4 and I still have about 1/3 of the box left after 2 years.
It is very similar to cotton bacon in style and function.

But yes cotton balls are fine if not scented.

Good, plain cotton balls are perfectly fine. Try some other wicking material like cotton bacon or organic cotton pads for a taste comparison.
