That's why I uninstalled Tapatalk a couple years ago and refuse to reinstall it. Banner adverts at the tops of pages? Ok. Adverts down the sides of pages? Ok. But Adverts stuck into thread listings and interleaved with posts? Nope. That's when I start smacking advert sources with ABP and the like.
Tapatalk's makers put that in because forum operators were starting to complain that Tapatalk was making money off their forums and investments. I remember when it happened. From the sounds of it, now, you're better off with a mobile web version of sites than with Tapatalk.
I take it you didn't sign up for the hot lube special...LMAO.

Every now and then the spam on VU is less pervasive. I think it's time/traffic based.
Either way, the over-monetizing makes for a horrific user experience. This is why other forums don't do this.
I actually have to use ECF on my phone because of the relentless Tapatalk spam bombardment that makes VU unusable.
