I was fortunate to receive a KangSiDe U1000.

This is my first mod that uses separate batteries. Could you kind folks recommend a proper battery for this mod? And also a charger?

I would be vaping factory coils (Amigo 0.5, VapMod 0.6, and Vaporesso 0.5)

Appreciate it

Pretty decent mod. You'll be best served with LG HG2, Samsung 30Q, or Sony VTC6. They're all roughly 20 Amp batteries, and offer more than enough oomph to power those coils.

For a charger, I like my Enova Gyrfalcon All-44, but Nitecore, Efeat Luc, Xtar, and Opus are all good brands, too.

I think this will get me on to a good start. This is what I'm ready to choose. I noticed that more than a few peeps had good things to say about this vendor. I appreciate the feedback. It sure saved me a lot of time and money. Mooch' battery guide was a big help and I also held true to the "don't buy batteries from Amazon, Ebay, or FastTech" maxim.
