Just a quick survey.
Do you prefer a single or dual coil build, in your favorite RDA?

Both... although I might lean slightly towards DCs and triples. It really depends on the deck & chamber size, as well as the post layout, AFC design... and even the intended juice and wick used.

Some of the smaller diameter "old style" RDAs, like the Nimbus for example, work well as dedicated, SC setups. Some more modern RDAs, like the Veritas (although a bit crowded), are far better suited to DCs.

If the AFC has both DC and SC hole layouts, like an Origen V2 (a feature I always recommend to first time RDA users)... although the chamber may not be optimized for SC, they still work fairly well as such... and allow beginners the learning curve option.

SOF covers it very well as usual . Maybe a poll would be more telling but as said, depends on RDA and user personal preference , i personally use just a larger single coil lately , as long as it provides more than adequate vapor and especially taste i'm good.

Obviously it depends on many things, but everyone have a specific preference in their favorite atty.

For me it's about dual coil. I like the dense clouds when I'm inhaling.

I was using a small diameter single coil in my Veritas and it was so so , i then wrapped a dual coil in it which was again OK , but when i stuck a larger 1/8th diameter single coil in there "Holy Shit " what a difference .

Now i see it's great performance.

I prefer single coils.
If a specific RDA works well with single i go single, if not dual.

I use both, single coil in the veritas, dual in the odin. Just depends on the liquid and the mood that I am in. I tend to reach for the dual coil more lately as I am new to dual coil builds.

I started off wrapping dual coils on everything, that was also when i was using a mech (about 6 months ago), since moving to regulated devices, i have been very happy with single coil builds, my favorite 2 attys right now also do very well with single coils: magma and veritas

Dual or quad. I'd prefer quad all the time and my plume veil fits them well only thing with that is it eats up my juice fast, on a quad coil build I can easily go through 2-3 vtc4 and 5 18650 batteries and 15-20ml of juice. Costly indeed!

I prefer dual coils vs single..
I tried a single parallel 24g coil in my Zenith and it did produce good flavor but clouds were weak and I had to re-drip after only 3 hits..
I pulled that out and installed dual 24g micro coils and that build blows clouds that are much, much better..taking it a bit further I run three 24g coils in my new Stillare V3 that blows even thicker clouds and superb flavor as well..deep juice well deck on the V3 takes about 18 drops of juice and I can get
10-12 really good hits before having to re-drip..so yes, I do prefer dual coils (and three even) vs single coil builds
