smok alien 220+ ipod shuffle wired into mod

i took an ipod shuffe apart and removed the tiny rechargable tinfol sack of lithium that apple decided to call a battery. (imho all mac batterys are wierd dangerous inventions and seem more like a potental bomb, but this is getting off track.

the ipod shuffle has 2 cords (red+/black-) which i have tested on several power sources with success.

so i want an mp3 player on my mod.
how would you wire it up?

Problem here would be the voltage to the MP3 unit; it probably wants a single cell lithium battery. If your mod has a single battery setup, simply wire the red and black ipod wires directly to the mod battery terminals. If your mod is a dual or triple battery mod, or has a multiple-cell internal battery, then problems may occur. Wiring the MP3 player to any one of the 18650 batteries would drain only that battery; wiring it to a higher-voltage internal battery pack would present more voltage than desired to the MP3 player.

This may cause you to choose a different mod. Have fun playing with mounting it.

I'd just buy a mod with an MP3 player already on it.
