smok stick v8 mod problem

so i got the smok stick v8 via mail
and i opened it up and everything was fine
but i took one puff and then after it has blinking 4 times everytime i take a puff
i looked up in the internet and i saw that it has to do something about the atomizer connection
i used a different mod to check if it is the atomizer connection and it has blinking in the other mod also
what do i need to do to fix it?
i changed the coil to a different one and it still hasn't puffed
what should i do
i got it today...

My first guess would be the positive pin on the base of the atomiser isn't touching the base of the coil properly

Unscrew the atomiser and remove the coil, try pushing the pin up a bit from underneath...when you screw the coil in properly you'll see the pin move down if it's touching the coil properly...after you are done the positive pin should be sitting proud of the threads (you don't want the threads and positive pin touching at the same time as this will cause a short)

cause i got it out of the box and it puffed one time and then the other one it didn't...
i did try one of the coils on the other mod
and only one of them worked and it's the m2
is there a chance that the mod and one of the coils are defected?
cause i bought it online and i don't have a warranty...

yeah off course
in the start i thought for my self that it's uncharged so i charged it until the red light went off but it didn't work since then...

If you are getting the blinking on two different mods, the issue is clearly the atty. Did you try changing the coil?

it's actually not the atty
it's the mod
i checked the atty on another mod and it worked
i think its just shorting the circuit but i don't know why

i don't think it's a clone cause i haven't seen any clones of the smok stick v8 kit
and it actually came just like the original...
i know for sure it has to do with the mod itself
cause it did worked one time and then when i tried to take one more puff it didn't work

but it doesn't fire at all even when there is a different coil from another mod

They are not always fully charged when received. There are also factors to consider, like they may have had it in stock for quite some time since it was originally charged. Right now, it's your only option for trouble shooting. Rule out undercharged battery and go from there.

Look at the picture I posted threads are those things at the bottom of it ...like when you screw a nut onto a bolt same thing ....

At the very end of the threading is the positive pin it's sticks out slightly further if you zoom in make sure yours does this after you have screwed the coil in tight

Well, at least now you know. Sounds like you need to contact the shop you bought it from and get a replacement.

i bought it online from ebay actually from a pretty legit seller
so i don't have any warranty but i know it can be fixed i just don't know how
maybe i'll contact smok or something or can't i?

There's your problem. You bought it off eBay. While some people might be lucky, mostly that's not were you should be getting your stuff from. You also won't be able to get help via smok since you purchased it off eBay and they will probably not like the receipt, if they even let you turn in an virtual invoice. Smok's own warranty department isn't known for their quick and excellent customer service. However, eBay has a return policy you should be making use off, because to me it sounds like a damaged mod, if the suggestion others have made aren't working. There's also a bunch of youtube videos that explain in detail how to fix a 510 connection, but to be honest and not to be rude, but you don't sound like you're having any knowledge or experience with that, so I wouldn't recommend that route out of safety. It might not even be the problem and just a speculation on your end. You're better off shipping it back and get a kit that's better or at least functional, with warranty from a good online vendor or local store. My 2cents.

well guys i talked with the seller i bought from him this kit and he told me after i sent him a video that shows how the mod don't work that he will send a new and it might be a battery defect from the production
he was very nice to offer it and it was highly appreciated

Hey man mind doing the same thing and if I shake mine real hard it will start working. I'm pritty sure the 510 pin on the mod itself is getting stuck and our shifted of the solder come loose on the inside. I have to play with it for a second and it will work. If it's not seated right it won't charge or fire it will just blink then I kept messing with it then it will charge and mine is a real one forsure. Cause I checked the numbers on the Smok site
