SMY-50Watt issues

I just got the SMY-50 (temperature control). As of right now it's going back. I'm on my 3rd battery in 7 hours. I'm using my Rose V2 with a .12 nickel build at 550 degrees. I use this same atty on my IPV4 at about 400 degrees. Anyone else have this mod? Are these common issues? I also don't like the fact that it turns itself off completely, but I think that can be adjusted. I'm afraid to the way it's going through batteries. I'm using VCT-4's. Thought I'd give this a try before I send it back.

I have one, you can set the time limits. I used 1 battery in it and it was a IMR18650 2100mah by Efest. I only used it for one day. The battery lasted longer than any other device I have. The only issue I have is it is a finger print magnet. It's been sitting since I used it, because I don't like is for the finger prints on it. Very solid device, but again only used it one day.

Yes! I like the way it vapes, but horrible battery life, I went through 3 sony vet-4's in 12 hours yesterday and it wasn't even my only device. Can't do that!!

I'm getting about the same time out of battery as my invader mini. Purple efest is lasting about 4 hours chain vaping at 430 temp. A little less time than my sx mini on Eco mode. I Set sleep to 30 and shut off at 60 min.
