i know the basics about temp control but now i kinda have to use it because on watts it makes it 0.16ohms but its supposed to be 0.15. i just need to understand these modes and like what theyre generally for.

Are you getting a low resistance reading?

Why do you have to use it in TC? That resistance reading is perfectly fine and not off by much. Unless it's a nickel or Ti coil (which i doubt it is) you should be fine in wattage mode. Also, as far as I know, smok does not make TC coils so you have to use it in wattage.

As skt noted, Smok does not make a stock TC coil. Their factory coils are kanthal and SHOULD NOT be used in TC mode. Also as noted, it is not uncommon for a coils resistance to read .01 to .03 + or -. It is a known thing that kanthal coils will fire in certain TC settings on various mods, however that doesn't mean that you should use them in TC. Go back to wattage mode and be happy. :bunny:
